Click the link to see my first freelance article. It features my time spent in Charleston, SC during one of my 13 week travel nurse assignments. The beaches, food, plantations, and friendly southern hospitality made it one of my favorite places to visit in the United States.

Leah has been a traveling operating room nurse for 5 years. She enjoys exploring her assignment destination and even takes trips internationally in between contracts. Her dog, Dakota, joins her on the road and is happy to hike a mountain, swim in the ocean, or just stick her head out the window for the ride.
You can keep up with her adventures on her blog, offtheclocknurse.com, or follow her on facebook and instagram.
What an interesting perspective on work-life balance. I didn’t even know that such thing as a travel nurse existed!

Good work in the article! I absolutely love Charleston and I am sure it was amazing to live there. I love all the plantations and that friendly southern hospitality.

GIRL! I LOVE SC!!!! But after reading your article I realized that I’ve only done 1 or 2 things that you’ve mentioned here so I can’t wait to go back! Also, that link is really useful for nurses who want to travel and I’m forwarding on to my nurse friends!
